North India is currently experiencing a severe heatwave. Several states—including UP, Bihar, and Delhi—are bearing the brunt of a heatwave.
Heatwaves are wreaking havoc in several states, including the capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Bihar.
The IMD has issued an orange alert for Delhi for May 22 and said that the minimum temperature is expected to be 32 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 44 degrees Celsius.
