Mahindra Scorpio N 2026 Launched: Panoramic Sunroof, 540° Camera Headline Feature List

New Delhi: Mahindra has unveiled the refreshed Scorpio N, introducing new features that customers had been asking for over the years. The SUV is available at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 13.69 lakh, while the top-end variant is priced at Rs 25.49 lakh. This update places greater emphasis on interior comfort and technology upgrades, with minimal changes to the powertrain.

Which feature was most awaited?

Till now, a panoramic sunroof has not been available in Scorpio N. This was considered its biggest shortcoming. The company has removed this in the 2026 model. Panoramic sunroof is now provided in the top variant. Along with this, features like a 540-degree camera system, transparent chassis view, and blind view monitor have also been added. These features will make driving easier, especially in off-roading and crowded places.

What new experience will the driver get?

As soon as you sit in the cabin, the first thing you see is the big display. Compared to earlier, a 12.29-inch infotainment system has now been provided. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster has been installed in front of the driver, in which different display modes are available. Mahindra has not completely relied on touch controls. Physical buttons for important functions are present as before, which will make it easier to use in a moving vehicle.

How much did the exterior design change?

If we look at it at first glance, the new Scorpio N looks the same as before. The company has not tried to change its identity. Changes are limited to selected parts only. The higher variants are now fitted with newly designed 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Apart from this, the front profile and body line have been kept the same.

Is there any new technology in the engine?

No changes have been made in the mechanical part. As before, the SUV will come with 2.0-liter turbo petrol and 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engines. Both engines are available in a choice of 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. According to the need, customers can choose both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options.

What will be its impact on the market?

Competition in the full-size SUV segment is continuously increasing. In such a situation, Mahindra has strengthened the list of features without making any major change in the price. This may make the challenge of Scorpio N more difficult for Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar and MG Hector Plus. For those customers who do not want to go for the Toyota Fortuner, it will remain a strong option as before.
