Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's century faces ‘AI Chip’ claim: ‘Check His Bat’
As soon as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored his second IPL century, Pakistan’s cricket expert Nauman Niaz made a statement that was both amusing and baffling.
New Delhi: A 15 year old boy is creating a storm in IPL and Pakistan is not able to digest it. AAs soon as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored his second IPL century, Pakistan’s cricket expert Nauman Niaz made a statement that was both amusing and baffling. He claims that Sooryavanshi's bat has an AI chip which gives it so much power.
What did Niaz finally say?
On 'SmashHit' show, Niaz said that Sooryavanshi's bat should be checked in a lab. Comparing it with WADA's dope test, he said that this child's bat should have an AI chip only then it can have so much power. However, later he himself said that he is a wristy player, plays 360 degrees and his technique is amazing. That is, both the accusation and the praise were made in the same breath.
🚨 AI chip in Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's bat?

- Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is batting like he’s got an AI chip installed. Frankly, just like we have doping tests, he should be tested too. This doesn’t look human. What a player he is!! Unreal! - Dr Nauman Niaz #TATAIPL #RRvsSRH #IPL2026 pic.twitter.com/xUZ4eg2iyU
What has Vaibhav done to cause so much restlessness?
Sooryavanshi completed his century in just 37 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Earlier, by scoring 78 runs in 26 balls against RCB, he came within touching distance of the record of fastest century in IPL. 357 runs in 8 matches, two half-centuries and one century and only 15 years of age. In the race for Orange Cap, he is at second place, leaving behind stalwarts like KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Abhishek Sharma.
Has this boy won the whole world?
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has scored centuries in England, Australia and South Africa in the last one year. Also won the Under-19 World Cup in January this year. Now only one thing is left, debut in the senior Indian team. At the pace at which they are progressing, that day may also come by June.
What is the meaning of Niaz's statement?
To be honest, there is neither any evidence nor any logic in this statement of Niaz. This is just a glimpse of the uneasiness that is being felt in the neighborhood after seeing the ability of a 15 year old Indian child. The AI chip is not in the bat but in the mind and hands of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and that chip has been installed by the hard work of his parents and years of practice.
