Divyansh Rajput Shines With Brilliant Knock As Meerut Mavericks Beat Noida Kings In UP T20
In the UP T20 League, Meerut Mavericks secured a strong 41-run win against Noida Kings. Divyansh Rajput’s superb innings overshadowed captain Rinku Singh, who managed only 10 runs.

UP T20: In the 14th match of the UP T20 League played at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, Meerut Mavericks performed brilliantly and defeated Noida Kings by 41 runs. The hero of this victory was Divyansh Rajput, who scored an aggressive half-century and took the team to a strong score. The bowlers also performed brilliantly and ensured victory.
After winning the toss and batting first, Meerut Mavericks scored 184/7 in 20 overs. Opener Swastik Chikhara gave a strong start and scored 21 runs in the very first over of Kunal Tyagi by hitting two sixes and a four. However, after the powerplay, Noida bowlers Naman Tiwari and Prashant Veer bowled tightly and put Meerut under pressure. The result was that the score reached 45/2 at one time.
Divyansh's explosive innings
Rituraj Sharma (34) and Madhav Kaushik contributed some runs, but after both of them were out, captain Rinku Singh also returned to the pavilion after scoring 10 runs. By the 14th over of the innings, Meerut's score was 110/5. At such a time, Divyansh Rajput took the responsibility. He first played sensibly and then started scoring runs at a fast pace.
Rajput scored an unbeaten 53 runs in just 25 balls. Hrithik Vats (24) along with him took the team in control by making a partnership of 60 runs. In the last overs, Yash Garg (13 runs, 5 balls) took the score to 184 by hitting three fours.
Noida's innings was ruined
Noida Kings had a very bad start while chasing the target. Spinner Vishal Chaudhary dismissed captain Shivam Chaudhary and Priyanshu Pandey in the very first over to reduce the opposition to 0/2. After this, the team remained under constant pressure. Ravi Singh hit some shots but Meerut bowlers Vijay Kumar, Kartik Tyagi and Rinku Singh kept the run rate under control.
Superb bowling by Zeeshan
Prashant Veer (39) and Karan Sharma (37) raised hopes for Noida with a 75-run partnership, but it was not enough. In the 19th over, Kartik Tyagi dismissed Karan and almost ensured victory. Zeeshan Ansari took three wickets in the final over and took a total of four wickets. Vishal (2/16) and Kartik (2/28) also bowled brilliantly. Noida could only score 143/9 in the stipulated 20 overs. With this win, Meerut Mavericks have strengthened their claim in the tournament.
