Mohammed Siraj took four wickets in the last Test against England and revealed an emotional conversation on Bumrah's farewell. He expressed happiness over taking the responsibility and became the highest wicket-taker with 18 wickets in the five-match series.

Sports News: In the fifth and final Test match being played between India and England, Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj created a stir with his deadly bowling. Siraj took four important wickets in England's first innings, due to which England's team was reduced to 247 runs. India had scored 224 runs in the first innings.

Siraj mentioned an emotional conversation

Siraj's brilliant bowling was seen when the team's experienced bowler Jasprit Bumrah was released from the team under workload management. At the time of Bumrah's farewell, Siraj mentioned an emotional conversation with him. He said that he had asked Bumrah that if he takes five wickets, then who will come to hug him. To this Bumrah replied, "I am here; you just take five wickets."

Siraj Enjoys Learning From Jassi Bhai

In an interview, Siraj said that it is fun to play with Jassi bhai (Bumrah), and one gets to learn a lot from him. He further said that when I get responsibility, I get excited. I like to give my 100 percent for the team. Whatever the result, my focus is always on the needs of the team.

Siraj also said that he constantly talks to other bowlers about strategy, what should be done, and what should not be done. According to him, teamwork and communication improve performance.

 Siraj took the most wickets in the series

Siraj has become the highest wicket-taker in this series so far. He has taken 18 wickets so far, leaving behind England captain Ben Stokes. Earlier, Siraj had also shown his strength by taking 18 wickets in the 2021 England tour.
