A Meta spokesperson has issued a statement and clarification regarding the removal of PM Modi's video from Facebook and said that "The content was removed in error and has since been restored."

According to sources, the government is taking the incident "very seriously," and the Ministry of Information and Technology has already sent summonses to the global heads of Meta and Instagram.
