Salman Khan locks Eid 2027 release with Nayanthara in big pan-India film

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has announced the release of his next film and has begun shooting in Mumbai for director Vamshi Paidipally's film, starring South star Nayanthara. Bhaijaan surprised fans by sharing a video of the film's grand muhurat ceremony on social media and also confirmed that his film will hit theaters on Eid 2027.
What did the Salman Khan announce?
The Eid box office has once again received its biggest headline, and it's related to Salman Khan. The superstar has officially announced his next film, the yet-untitled project, currently referred to as SVC63, for Eid 2027.
The news has created a stir among fans and reignited a tradition that has defined Hindi cinema for over a decade.
The new film, currently titled 'SVC63', is being directed by director Vamshi Paidipally. Nayanthara will also star in the film, and it is being produced by Dil Raju.
While announcing the release date on X, Salman Khan said that "Thoda durr ki sochna chahiye, that’s why announced Eid… Don’t worry, iss wali ka bhi bataenge when the time is right. Patience, thoda sa sabar… mere jitna hi intezar karna padega. Baherhaal jo aapka haal hai, woh hi mera bhi haal hai (One should think a little ahead, that’s why I announced Eid. Don’t worry, we will reveal the other one at the right time. Have patience, just a little patience. You will have to wait as long as I am. The way you are feeling right now, I feel the same)."
What about the film?
Dil Raju is producing this mega project under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. He is a prominent producer in the Indian film industry and has produced over 60 films. He has received National Awards for 'Maharshi' and 'Shatamanam Bhavati'. The duo of Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju have previously collaborated on five films and have a strong box office record.
