Mumbai: Actress Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi's son, Ayushmaan Sethi, recently lost Rs 87,000 in a credit card scam. Aryamann Sethi revealed about the incident on his YouTube vlog. Although the family initially panicked, they later dismissed it with amusement.

Aryamann in the vlog on Saturday joked that Ayushmann has now become a regular customer of fraudsters, as he previously lost Rs 80,000 in a similar incident.

How did Archana Puran's son Ayushmann lost Rs 87,000?

In Aryamann's latest vlog in Saturday, Ayushmaan is seen panicking and saying, "Rs 87,000 has been deducted from my credit card." Archana, sitting next to him, immediately replied, "Just cancel it right now. Call the credit card company."

Explaining what had happened, Ayushmaan said, "They took the money for the entire year under the pretext of a seven-day free trial."

A shocked Archana repeated, "Rs 87,000?" and then said again, "Cancel the credit card." As Aryamann bursts into laughter, Parmeet tells everyone to calm down, "Don’t cancel the card, cancel the payment."

Ayushmann asks, "Where do I look for that option?" This makes the entire family, including Archana and Parmeet, burst out laughing. Continuing the banter, Aryaman teases him, saying, "You cannot take this money from mumma-papa," adding that "this is your money." Trying to justify himself, Ayushmann said, “I did this for dad!” Parmeet chuckled, but Archana reminded him, “He will take that money from you. So what are you so happy for?”

Parmeet said, “I am not happy, I am just wondering how much he’s panicking over this.” Meanwhile, Ayushmann tried to contact his bank to resolve the issue, he encountered another problem. The bank's number didn't work.

Is this the second time with Ayushmann?

Aryamann Sethi also recalled an earlier incident, explaining that this wasn't the first time his younger brother had been scammed.

Recalling the incident, he said, "When we were doing recce for my song ‘Choti Baatein’, Ayushmann received a message saying around Rs 80,000 had been debited from his PlayStation account, which he never got back."

What did Ayushmann reveal the truth about  credit card scam?

Explaining what went wrong this time, Ayushmann Sethi explained that the transaction happened without his consent, stating, “Someone has taken money from my credit card without my permission. They had these options for seven-day trials, promising they would charge after the seventh day. But they charged me for the entire year in one go... without asking my permission.”

To this, Parmeet Sethi said, "You are always in a hurry.” Ayushmaan responded, “I wasn’t in a hurry. And I was doing your job.” He added, “You guys are not dealing with this. I am dealing with this. Nobody has any expertise here, I will fix it myself,” which again amused the family.

Aaryamann joked, “Papa, your boy has become a man. He has been cheated.”
