The Election Commission of India has provided different online facilities and mobile apps, with the help of which any person can find out whether their name is registered in the voter list or not in a few minutes

Here are the steps to check your name on the voter list in minutes:

Step 1 First, download the voter helpline app on your android or iPhone. Open the app and click the "search your name in electoral roll" option shown on the home screen.

Step 2  Now you're presented with two ways to look for your name. Search by Voter ID number (EPIC number) or name, date of birth and state. Once filled, click on search button.

Step 3 If your name appears on the screen, you will be notified with your name, Voter ID number, polling center and important information. If your name isn't in the list, you can make an application for registration or details change on the same app.

To do this, download the voter helpline app, click on ‘search by EPIC number’ and enter the EPIC number which is printed on the Voter ID card.
