PM Modi launches youth-focused schemes: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched various youth-focused schemes worth over Rs 62,000 crore in New Delhi, with special emphasis in Bihar to boost education, skilling and entrepreneurship across the nation.
On Saturday, PM Modi launched PM-SETU (Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs), with an investment of Rs 60,000 crore, which is a centrally sponsored scheme.
The scheme is related to the upgradation of 1,000 government ITIs in a hub-and-spoke model consisting of 200 hub ITIs and 800 spoke ITIs.

During the address, PM Modi said, "A few years ago, our government started a new tradition of large-scale convocations for ITI students. Today, we are all witnessing another milestone in this tradition. I extend my best wishes to all the young ITI colleagues from every corner of India. Today's ceremony symbolises the importance India places on skills. Today, two more major education and skill development projects have been launched for youth across the country..."
PM Modi also interacted with youth today, while launching various youth-focused schemes, with a special focus on Bihar. The main highlight of today’s event was the launch of the PM-SETU (Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs) scheme, with the motive of upgrading 1,000 Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across India.
