PM Modi inaugurates Delhi BJP's new office at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg

PM Modi inaugurates Delhi BJP's new office: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated Delhi BJP's new office at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg. Notably, along with PM Modi, Union Minister JP Nadda was also present at the inauguration ceremony of the Delhi BJP's office.

During the inauguration ceremony of the Delhi's BJP office, PM Modi shed light on the history of the Delhi BJP workers and praised them for their dedication and struggle. 

While inaugurating the Delhi BJP's new office, PM Modi took to his social media handle X and wrote, “The history of BJP workers in Delhi has been a unique example of struggle and dedication. Amidst every challenge, they not only kept the organisation alive but also made an extraordinary contribution to strengthening it.”

“I am fully confident that the permanent state office built for them will infuse the organisation with new strength, new direction, and renewed self-confidence,” he added. 

What Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Said?

Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and state president Virendra Sachdeva performed a 'havan' at the newly constructed office. Talking to reporters, she said, "Party office plays a crucial role in the functioning of a political organisation. The new office building of the Delhi BJP will boost the confidence of lakhs of party workers." 

Taking to her X account, Gupta posted, “This morning in the newly built office, the house entry pooja and Havan were duly completed.”

What are the significant features of BJP's New Office

  • It is a five-storey eco-friendly building
  • The new BJP office is built in 825 square metres and consists of:
  • Two basements with the capacity of 50 vehicles
  • A conference room at the ground floor for press events, reception and a canteen
  • An auditorium at the first floor with a capacity of 300 people
  • The second and third floor comprises of offices of prominent figures including state general secretaries, secretaries, and vice-presidents
  • At the top floor, there are offices of Delhi BJP in-charge, state president, and organisational general secretary
