BJP chief Nitin Nabin announces party reshuffle ahead of assembly polls
The list includes new national vice-presidents, general secretaries, secretaries, office-bearers, and other heads of various party wings who were appointed in the new list that came into effect from Monday.
New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday made the announcement of its new national office-bearers and other party functionaries under the leadership of the party's president, Nitin Nabin.
Who are present in the list?
Nitin Nabin, president of BJP released the list of the new national office bearers of the party. Former Union Minister Smriti Irani was inducted back into the BJP as a general secretary.
The list includes new national vice-presidents, general secretaries, secretaries, office-bearers, and other heads of various party wings who were appointed in the new list that came into effect from Monday.

Who are the new national vice presidents?
Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Baijayant Jay Panda, Rekha Verma and Tariq Mansoor are continuing as national vice presidents of the party in the new list. Other national vice-presidents are former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, Ram Madhav, D Purandeswari, Varshaben Narendra Bhai Doshi, Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar, Manpreet Singh Badal, Lal Singh Arya, Prof M Nagaraj, and Dr Madhuchandra Kar.
Vinod Tawde and Sunil Bansal will serve as national general secretaries and BL Santhosh as national general secretary (organisation).
How about the national general secretaries?
The eight leaders are appointed as national general secretaries, with Smriti Irani being one of them. They are Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, former chief minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia.
Irani is making her debut in an important role since losing the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
Shivprakash and Saudan Singh have been named as the national joint general secretaries (organisation) while BL Santhosh will remain to coordinate party organisation at the national level.
Congress spokesperson Rohan Gupta has been moved to the ranks of BJP national secretary. Anil Antony has continued as is.
What about Piyush Goyal?
Union minister Piyush Goyal has been appointed national treasurer of the BJP while Rajesh Mangal has been appointed national joint treasurer of the BJP.
The party also made appointments to its organisational and outreach wings. Sambit Patra has been appointed coordinator of the North-East and Tarun Chugh has been appointed central office in-charge.
BJP has appointed Deepak Mhaskey as its social media convenor.
