New Delhi: In a major update, Pakistan has dismissed US President Donald Trump’s claim that they are secretly conducting nuclear weapons tests. Pakistan stated that it “was not the first to carry out nuclear tests and will not be the first to resume them.”

After recent Donald Trump's claim on nuclear testing Pakistan finally said that it was not the first to conduct nuclear tests and it will not be the first to resume them. And now senior Pakistani security official informed CBS News that Pakistan will continue to maintain its unilateral moratorium.
As per CBS News report, Pakistan official said, it "will not be the first to resume nuclear tests". It added, "Pakistan was not the first to carry out nuclear tests and will not be the first to resume nuclear tests."
What Donald Trump said about Nuclear test?
It is to be noted here that during the broadcast, Donald Trump alleged that many countries - including Russia, China, North Korea, and Pakistan - conduct secret nuclear tests, meanwhile the US has tried not to conduct it for more than three decades.
“We’re going to test because they test,” Trump told CBS News correspondent Norah O’Donnell. “And certainly North Korea’s been testing. Pakistan’s been testing. They test way underground, where people don’t know what’s happening.”

China was the first to response to Donald Trump’s explosive claim. It rejected the accusation and reaffirmed its “self-defensive nuclear strategy.” Speaking on the same, Mao Ning, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said China “has always abided by its commitment to suspend nuclear testing”. He also urged Washington to uphold the global non-proliferation regime.
