On Tuesday, Tanushree shared an emotional video on Instagram in which she was seen crying bitterly. And said that she is facing constant harassment in her own house, and now the situation has become so serious that she had to seek police help.

After this video of Tanushree, a round of sharp reactions started on social media. On one hand, while she got sympathy, on the other hand, many users questioned her intentions. But this time Tanushree did not let the trolls remain silent but put forward her point strongly by giving sharp answers.

Harassment has been going on since 2018

Tanushree wrote in the caption with the video, 'I am fed up with this harassment. It has been going on since 2018 #MeToo. Need help. Do something before it's too late.' After this post, reactions from followers started coming in rapidly. A user wrote, 'I am a fan of Tanushree ma'am, but this time I feel she wants to be in the limelight. Maybe I am wrong.' On this, Tanushree gave a befitting reply and wrote, 'Really? Saw your profile. I have created an Insta account today to post this comment.'

Sharp retort on trolling 

Another user called Tanushree a 'drama queen,' mentioned her old MeToo allegations, and targeted Nana Patekar by calling him a great man. In response, Tanushree wrote, 'Hmmm. I did not even take Nana's name in this post. A straw in the thief's beard.' She further said, 'A guilty conscience does not need an accuser.'

The wave of the #MeToo movement in India in 2018 gained momentum only after the revelations of Tanushree Dutta. She had accused actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets of the film 'Horn OK Please' in 2008. Nana Patekar denied all the allegations, and in 2019, Mumbai Police gave him a clean chit.
