Rajinikanth’s Coolie shatters records, surpasses War 2, and storms into the ₹200 crore club with massive success

Superstar Rajinikanth’s film Coolie has achieved a historic milestone, surpassing War 2 at the box office, entering the ₹200 crore club, and proving its dominance with record-breaking collections.

'Coolie' box office update

In the first three days of its release, 'Coolie' earned a net collection of ₹158.35 crore in India. The collection dropped to ₹35 crore on Sunday, taking the four-day total domestic box office collection to ₹194.25 crore. The film has also performed well in the international market, grossing over $16 million in just three days, taking its worldwide collection past the ₹300 crore mark. 'War 2' and 'Coolie'

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer 'War 2' was also released along with Rajinikanth's 'Coolie.' However, despite getting more screens, 'War 2' lagged behind at the box office. While 'Coolie' has crossed the ₹190 crore mark so far and is soon heading towards ₹200 crore, 'War 2' has been limited to ₹170 crore in India. In terms of overseas collections too, 'Coolie' ($16 million) is far ahead of 'War 2's $5 million collection.

Rajinikanth’s Coolie Wins Hearts

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, 'Coolie' stars Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film also stars Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj. Apart from this, a special cameo by Aamir Khan was a surprise for the audience. The film received mixed reviews from critics, but the love of the audience is making 'Coolie' a huge success at the box office.
