Famous Actor’s Death Shocks Film Industry; CM Expresses Grief
Malayalam actor and mimicry artist Kalabhavan Navas was found dead in a hotel in Kochi. At present, the police believe the cause of death to be a heart attack. He was staying at the hotel for a film shoot, and the cause of his death is under investigation.

Entertainment News: Famous Malayalam film actor and mimicry artist Kalabhavan Navas died suddenly in a hotel room in the Chottanikkara area of Kochi on Friday evening. 51-year-old Navas was staying in the hotel for the shooting of a film. When he did not arrive for checkout at the scheduled time, the hotel staff found him unconscious in his room. After this, he was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The postmortem will be done today
According to the police, the primary cause of death is believed to be a heart attack; however, a post-mortem will be conducted on Saturday at the Government Medical College Hospital, Kalamassery, to confirm the exact cause. After the post-mortem, his body will be handed over to the family. Currently, his body is kept at SD Tata Hospital, Chottanikkara.
Kalabhavan Navas was staying at the hotel for the shooting of the film 'Prakambanam.' No suspicious object has been recovered from his room during the police investigation. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has expressed deep grief over the untimely death of the actor.
Navas was a versatile artist
Navas was a versatile artist who started his career in 1995 with the film 'Chaitanyam.' He made a special mark in the Malayalam film industry as a mimicry artist, playback singer, and actor. His major films include 'Hitler Brothers,' 'Junior Mandrake,' 'Amma Ammayamma,' 'Thillana Thillana,' and 'ABCD: American Born Confused Desi.'
Along with this, he played the role of judge in many TV reality shows like 'Comedy Masters,' 'Comedy Stars Season 2,' and 'Thakurappan Comedy.' He was also a good singer. There is a wave of mourning in the entertainment world due to his demise.
