Anurag Kashyap said during a special conversation about the film- This was a film that I wanted to make with Sushant Singh Rajput at one time. But after this he got a big film named Dil Bechara and Drive which was being made under the banner of Dharma Productions. After this my film was no longer on priority. I also backed off, and Sushant also stopped responding. After this I moved ahead. I had announced this film with him in the year 2016.

The director-actor further said- Many actors had read the script of the film Nishanchi and many actors had also liked it. Many actors were interested in this film but the deal could not be finalized with anyone regarding the film.

When is Nishaanchi releasing?

Talking about the film Nishanchi, its release date has been set as 19 September 2025. The story of the film is based on twin brothers who are completely different in nature. Love, brotherhood and revenge will be shown in the film. The film will be seen dealing with the different nature of humans and their effects. Many actors including Vineet Kumar Singh, Kumud Mishra, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub will be seen in the film.
