Realme 15 series launched in India with strong battery and powerful camera features

Tech News: Realme has launched two smartphones of its new 15 series in India, Realme 15 5G and Realme 15 Pro 5G. The biggest feature of both these devices is their large 7,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging support, which promises to give long-term power backup to the users. Realme 15 5G is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ processor, while the Pro version has Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

Talking about camera features, both the smartphones have a 50-megapixel selfie camera and dual camera setup at the back. The Pro model has a Sony IMX896 primary sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide lens, while the base version has an 8MP secondary camera with Sony IMX882 main sensor.

Price of the phone

The starting price of Realme 15 5G is ₹25,999 (8GB+128GB). At the same time, 256GB and 12GB versions are available for ₹27,999 and ₹30,999 respectively. The price of Realme 15 Pro 5G starts at ₹31,999, which is for the 8GB+128GB variant. Its higher variants will be available for ₹33,999, ₹35,999 and ₹38,999.

 Will be available from July 30

Both smartphones will be available on Flipkart, Realme India website and offline stores from July 30. Buyers will get discounts on select bank offers and exchange deals. In terms of design, both the devices are offered in color options like Flowing Silver, Velvet Green, Silk Pink and Silk Purple. These smartphones feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display that comes with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 6,500 nits peak brightness.

To give users a smooth experience, the phones have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Apart from this, these devices run on Android 15-based Realme UI 6.

Tremendous use of AI in camera software 

AI has been used extensively in the camera software as well. Features like AI Edit Genie, AI Party, MagicGlow 2.0, and Snap Mode take photography to a new level. GT Boost 3.0 and Gaming Coach 2.0 support is also included for gamers. In connectivity, both phones support 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and USB Type-C. For security, an in-display fingerprint sensor has been provided and IP66/IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance is also present.
