Holi Double Treat: BSNL Announces Extra Data and Validity on Popular Prepaid Plans
Under the Holi offer, BSNL has increased the data benefit on its Rs 2,399 prepaid plan, to attract users across India.
New Delhi: The state-run telecom operator BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has introduced special Holi offers for its prepaid customers, giving them extra data benefits and extended validity on some of its widely used recharge plans. The offers are valid for a limited period till March 31.
What is Rs 2,399 Prepaid Plan?
Under the Holi offer, BSNL has increased the data benefit on its Rs 2,399 prepaid plan, to attract users across India. The limited-period recharge gives extra validity to an existing popular plan, allowing customers to stay connected for more days without paying extra.
What is there in the plan?
The data plan already comes with 365 days validity, unlimited voice calling across all networks and 100 SMS per day. Now, customers will get 2.5 GB of daily high-speed data, up from the earlier 2 GB daily. Over the full year, this means users will receive 912 GB of high-speed data, which is 182 GB more than before.
What is Rs 997 prepaid plan?
BSNL has added 14 extra days of validity to its Rs 997 plan as part of the Holi offer. Previously, this plan offered 150 days of service; with the new benefit, total validity is now 164 days. It continues to include unlimited voice calls, 2 GB daily data, and 100 SMS per day. With the extended validity, users will now get approximately 328 GB of total data, compared to 300 GB earlier.
What about Rs 485 prepaid plan?
The Holi offer also enhances the Rs 485 plan. Customers on this plan, which runs for 72 days, will now receive 2.5 GB of daily high-speed data instead of the standard 2 GB. This plan also includes unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
What about the post-data speed?
In all three plans, once the daily high-speed data limit is exhausted, internet speed will reduce to 40 Kbps, as per industry norms.
Till when is off valid?
BSNL has confirmed that these festive benefits are available only until March 31. After this date, the plans will revert to their original benefits and data limits. Users can check plan details on the BSNL website, app, or at local BSNL offices.
