Perplexity CEO Arvind Srinivas told The Verge in a recent interview that the Comet browser can quickly replace two jobs, which include recruiter and administrative assistant. According to Srinivas, a week's work of a recruiter can be done with just one AI prompt.
He also gave one such example and explained how AI will automatically search for the right candidate, message them, track their replies, update them in Google Sheets, schedule interviews, and also give a short briefing before the meeting. All this can be done without taking commands from humans again and again. AI will understand and do some things on its own.

Currently, the Comet browser is available only to paid users of Perplexity. But the company has also started an invite system for free users. According to a report, Srinivas has confirmed that this feature will be available to free users in the future, but it is possible that some of its special AI tools will be available only in the paid version.
