Running AC during summer season has also become a must. But in some cases there is an issue of dripping water from Split AC. Because of which the home gets wet and even the walls get damaged. Clean the AC filter

If the AC air filter is clogged with dust and dirt, then it cannot draw the air in normally. This makes the air inside the AC release moisture and water begins dripping.

How to clean?

First, open the AC cover, then carefully remove the filter. Wash the filter in clean water and dry it completely. Install the filter back after drying.

Unclog the drain pipe

The AC contains a drain pipe that drains out the water accumulated inside. If the pipe becomes blocked, the water begins coming back in and begins dripping.

How to Unclog?

Move to the rear of the AC and locate the drain pipe. Lightly pour water over the drain pipe or blow it with air. If dirty water or dust exits the pipe, then realize that the pipe is clean.

Install the AC at the correct angle

At some points, the AC installation proves to be faulty. In other situations, instead of directly attaching the AC on the wall, it gets slanted. During such a moment, water pours over one edge and begins dropping. Here you would have to see how evenly the AC has been levelled. If one side of your AC gets disproportionately inclined, stabilize it or approach a technician for assistance.
