The Yogi Adityanath government has taken a transformative step to enhance healthcare in Ayodhya, releasing Rs 48 crore as the first installment for a 300-bed super specialty hospital on Rampath. This state-of-the-art facility, aimed at serving both residents and the millions of pilgrims visiting the Ram Temple, will feature advanced medical infrastructure and doctors’ residences to ensure quality care.

A Modern Healthcare Hub

The 300-bed hospital, strategically located on Rampath, will offer cutting-edge facilities, including specialized departments for cardiology, neurology, and oncology. Equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and surgical units, it aims to provide accessible, high-quality care to Ayodhya’s growing population and visitors. The project addresses the region’s healthcare gaps, previously strained by limited infrastructure, ensuring timely treatment for emergencies, especially during high-pilgrim seasons like the Ram Navami festival, which attracts lakhs annually.

Supporting Medical Staff

A key feature of the hospital is the inclusion of doctors’ residences on-site, designed to attract and retain top medical talent. These modern accommodations will provide a comfortable living environment, enabling round-the-clock availability of specialists. This move addresses challenges faced by rural healthcare facilities in retaining skilled professionals, ensuring consistent service delivery. The government plans to recruit experienced doctors and support staff, with training programs to align with the hospital’s advanced capabilities.

Economic and Social Impact

The hospital is expected to boost Ayodhya’s economy by creating jobs in construction, healthcare, and ancillary services. It will also enhance the city’s appeal as a pilgrimage destination by offering reliable medical support, critical for events like the 2026 Kumbh Mela. Local leaders have hailed the project as a step toward holistic development, blending spirituality with modern amenities.

A Vision for Ayodhya’s Future

With completion targeted before 2027, the hospital will elevate the city’s infrastructure, ensuring that residents and devotees alike benefit from world-class medical care, reinforcing Yogi Adityanath’s vision of a vibrant, self-sufficient Ayodhya.
