Amid Ram Temple Fund Controversy, CM Yogi Visits Ayodhya; Champat Rai Told to 'Keep Distance'
Amid the ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in the collection and counting of donations at the Ram Temple, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Ayodhya on Friday.
Lucknow: Amid controversy surrounding the alleged irregularities in the handling of devotees’ donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minsiter Yogi Adityanath will visit the city on Friday, where he will inauguarte and lay the foundation stone for several projects.
Where will CM Yogi visit?
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister will on Friday visit Ayodhya to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several projects. CM will also visit the Ram Temple to pay obeisance and offer prayers to Lord Ram Lalla. According to sources, Champat Rai, Ram Temple Trust General Secretary, has been asked to distance himself from the Chief Minister during his visit.
Will Champat Rai meet CM Yogi?
According to sources, Ayodhya District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi has instructed the Trust's General Secretary, Champat Rai, to maintain a safe distance from Yogi Adityanath during the Chief Minister's visit. This is reportedly to maintain the impartiality of the SIT.
The three-member SIT team formed to investigate the Ram Temple offerings case is currently in Ayodhya and is questioning Trust employees and trustees within the premises, which include General Secretary Champat Rai and Trust member Anil Mishra. It is believed that this is why Champat Rai has been asked to distance himself from CM Yogi.
What about CM Yogi's visit?
CM Yogi Adityanath will be visiting Ayodhya on June 19. During this visit, he will inaugurate 72 projects and lay the foundation stone for 51 in Rudauli, Ayodhya. He will also inaugurate the Hunhuna Medical College, the Baba Bazaar Police Station, and unveil the statue of the warrior Jhalkari Bai. He will also hold a public meeting there.
CM Yogi will inaugurate the Shri Digambar Jain Temple 101 Bhagwan Ramdas Ki Chawani, attend the birth anniversary celebrations at Ayodhya Dham, and also inaugurate the Wax Museum at Ayodhya Dham.
