Railway Protection Force seized a huge amount of illegal English liquor worth Rs 2,81,060 from Sealdah Rajdhani Express (train number 12314.In this action, two accused named Raj Kumar Singh and Daulan Kumar Chakraborty have been arrested, while another person fled from the spot.

On the instructions of the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, based on the secret information received, the RPF took this action at around 11:55 am. Investigation revealed that this liquor was booked as a parcel by Mica Cargo Movers Company from New Delhi to Dhanbad.Acting on confidential intelligence, the RPF, under the directive of the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, conducted a targeted raid, leading to the arrest of two individuals. A third suspect remains absconding, prompting a manhunt to apprehend the fugitive.

The operation took place at Dhanbad Junction, where RPF personnel intercepted a compartment of the Kolkata-bound train. The smugglers had concealed large quantities of fruits, including mangoes and bananas, in unmarked packages to evade detection. Authorities suspect the consignment was being transported illegally to bypass taxes or quality regulations. The seized goods, valued at lakhs of rupees, were confiscated, and the arrested individuals were handed over to local police for further investigation.
