Punjab CM Hints At Farmers’ Loan Waiver, Calls Mankirat Aulakh To Appreciate Flood Relief Efforts
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has indicated that his government is actively considering waiving farmers’ loans. Speaking via a video call with singer Mankirat Aulakh, Mann praised his flood relief work and assured that no household will be left helpless.

Punjab News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has assured that the government is seriously thinking about a loan waiver for farmers. He emphasized that every family should feel safe and secure. His remarks came during a conversation with Punjabi singer Mankirat Aulakh, who was thanked for his relief efforts. Punjab has witnessed devastating floods across all 23 districts. Thousands of acres of crops were destroyed, leaving farmers in deep distress. The government had already announced a relief package, and now discussions on waiving loans have given farmers fresh hope for recovery.
Mann Calls Mankirat Aulakh
Due to health issues, CM Mann is currently admitted to hospital, but he connected with Mankirat Aulakh via video call. During the call, Mann praised his service to flood-hit communities and assured that the government stands firmly with farmers during these testing times.
Aulakh Demands Relief For Farmers
Mankirat Aulakh requested that small farmers be given priority in loan waiver decisions. He told people of Punjab that their Chief Minister is committed to supporting them. Aulakh also wished Mann a speedy recovery, saying Punjab feels proud of his leadership.

Mann acknowledged the efforts of young Punjabis, saying they inspire others to contribute selflessly. He noted that Punjab has always risen stronger after crises. According to him, when sons of Punjab like Mankirat step forward, the state proves its resilience again and again.
