Punjab Government’s Swift Action in Health, Relief, and Reconstruction Sets New Standards

Punjab News: In the past 24 hours, Punjab’s health camps treated 13,318 patients through 1,035 camps. Among them, 1,423 people had fever, 303 had diarrhoea, 1,781 suffered from skin problems, 811 had eye issues, and many others had different illnesses. The government also acted fast in reconstruction. Cleaning was done in 1,363 villages, 49,806 homes were sanitized, and debris from 624 houses was removed. Repairs and cleaning in another 15,368 homes were completed. New systems for cleaning drains, roads, and waste helped reduce infections and bad smells after floods. In 834 villages, active monitoring and disinfection were done to prevent diseases like dengue, malaria, and chikungunya. People supported these efforts, showing strong social unity. Government teams worked with local administration and medical staff to run awareness campaigns, distribute medicines, maintain sanitation, and provide emergency medical help in flood-hit areas. Relief operations were organized quickly and efficiently, with every action digitally tracked for transparency.
