New projects spreading growth across Punjab

The light of progress is visible everywhere in Punjab. In Rajpura, Patiala, the Dutch company De Heus has built a Rs 150 crore modern animal feed plant, completed in just two years. Under the Punjab Right to Business Act, projects up to Rs 125 crore get clearance within five days and full approval within 45 days, winning investors’ trust. Low power rates, affordable land, and tax benefits have made Punjab the favorite destination for industries. “We have removed unnecessary red tape. Punjab is now helping every youth achieve their dreams,” said CM Mann.

Punjab moving beyond agriculture

Punjab is no longer limited to farming. Using its 17 per cent share of India’s wheat production, the state is becoming a food processing hub with companies like Nestlé and PepsiCo. Auto clusters of Freudenberg and Nissan-Renault are growing in Ludhiana and Rupnagar, while Siemens and AWS are leading the way in clean energy and technology. The planned film city in Amritsar and new tourism policies are opening doors to more industries. The state’s GSDP has reached Rs 8.91 lakh crore, showing a 9 per cent yearly growth. With only 1.5 per cent of India’s total land, Punjab is playing a major role in strengthening the national economy. These investments are not just creating jobs but also boosting exports and encouraging water-saving technologies. Employment and respect for every Punjabi are becoming a reality, fulfilling the AAP government’s promises through hard work and vision. CM Bhagwant Mann has invited investors from across the world to the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit in Mohali, to be held from March 13–15, 2026. “This summit is a celebration of Punjab’s strength. We will bring more than Rs 20,000 crore investment in AI, semiconductors, and green energy. Come, let’s build a new Punjab together,” said CM Mann. Under Bhagwant Mann’s leadership, Punjab has proven that it belongs to everyone. Here, youth get jobs, farmers get respect, and families gain prosperity. Punjab is now the world’s favorite investment destination – a land that is turning the dream of a new India into reality through the teachings of the Gurus and the hard work of its people.
