The collapse of the electricity poles led to a significant power outage in Motijheel Colony and nearby Anup Nagar, disrupting water supply systems reliant on electric pumps. Anup Nagar residents faced acute water shortages, with many unable to access drinking water for hours. The Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration (LESA) reported that the downed poles damaged critical power lines, affecting over 2,000 households.

Local police and municipal workers assisted in clearing the rubble, using cranes to lift fallen poles. Residents, frustrated by the delay, aided efforts by providing tools and manpower, highlighting community resilience amid the crisis.
