Oversight and Relief Efforts

Temporary shelters have been set up in safer zones, and medical camps are providing care to the injured. 
To support displaced families, the Himachal Pradesh government has announced a monthly assistance of Rs 5,000 per family, alongside regular ration supplies. This initiative aims to provide immediate financial relief and ensure food security for those who have lost homes and livelihoods. Additionally, the state is coordinating with NGOs to distribute essentials like blankets and hygiene kits. Food supply chains are being strengthened to reach remote areas cut off by landslides, ensuring no family goes hungry.
