According to officials, the injured were immediately rushed to a hospital, where their condition is said to be stable.
Amarnath Yatra Convoy Accident
All three buses were damaged in the accident. Other pilgrims travelling in the affected buses were shifted to additional buses, and the convoy proceeded on its onward journey.
The ten injured pilgrims, primarily sustaining bruises and minor fractures, were promptly rushed to the Government Medical College Hospital in Anantnag. We acted quickly to ensure the injured were cared for,” said a Kulgam police official. The efficient response minimized panic among the pilgrims, who were traveling to the Baltal base camp for the Amarnath shrine darshan.

The administration’s quick action kept the yatra on track,” noted a volunteer assisting at the scene.Preliminary reports suggest that slippery roads due to recent rains and a possible misjudgment by one of the drivers caused the collision.
