Neeraj Chopra showcased his abilities brilliantly in the qualification round. In Group A, he threw the javelin to a distance of 84.85 meters on his first throw, qualifying for the final. Meanwhile, in Group B, Arshad Nadeem struggled to make the final. His first two throws were disappointing, failing to even break the 80-meter mark.
