IPL 2025: Not Virat Kohli! Who will be the Player of the Match in the final, David Warner REVEALS
The Royal Challengers Bangalore team has made its place in the final of IPL 2025. They are waiting for the second team and former Australia player David Warner believes that Josh Hazlewood will become the Player of the Match in the final match.

The last IPL 2025 match will be played on June 3 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have assured themselves a final spot with an extraordinary victory in Qualifier 1. It is the first time since 2016 that RCB has qualified for the final. On that occasion, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) beat RCB, led by David Warner as captain. Now Warner has predicted the Man of the Match for this season's last, and to everyone's surprise, he has awarded another player, not Virat Kohli, the Player of the Match.
David Warner predicts Josh Hazlewood will be Man of the Match
Australian batsman David Warner, while answering a fan's question on the social media platform X, said that he considers RCB as a strong contender to win the IPL title this time. Not only this, he named Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood for Player of the Match in the final.
I think RCB and Josh hazelwood man of the match https://t.co/JUdTxak0hm

Warner wrote, "I think RCB will win the title and Josh Hazlewood will become the Player of the Match." This prediction is also special because in the last season (IPL 2024), Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc won the Player of the Match title for Kolkata Knight Riders by performing brilliantly in the final.
Josh Hazlewood's brilliant form
Josh Hazlewood has proved to be the biggest weapon for RCB in IPL 2025. He has taken 21 wickets in 11 matches, with an average of 15.80 and a strike rate of 11.40. Against Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1, he played a key role in RCB's victory with three wickets
RCB's dream of winning the title
RCB is yet to win the IPL title, and this is a golden opportunity for them to win their first title. Virat Kohli's aggressive batting and captaincy, Josh Hazlewood's lethal bowling, and the contributions of other players like Faf du Plessis and Cameron Green have made RCB strong contenders this season. Fans hope that this time RCB will end their title drought.
