Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi warned Pakistan must “think twice” about remaining within geography, saying India will act decisively after Operation Sindoor to deter cross-border terrorism and protect national security.

National News: Indian Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi visited the border area of ​​Village 22 MD in Nai Mandi Ghadsana, Rajasthan, on Friday. He met with Army and Border Security Force (BSF) officers. During the visit, Dwivedi also mentioned Operation Sindoor and highlighted the serious damage India had inflicted on Pakistan. The Army Chief also offered a significant warning to Pakistan.

The Army Chief further stated that India will not exercise the restraint it did in Operation Sindoor 1.0 in Operation Sindoor 2.0. This time, India will take such action that Pakistan will have to reconsider whether it wants to remain in history. If Pakistan wants to establish its place in history, it must eliminate terrorism.

9 terrorist hideouts destroyed

The Army Chief stated that when India launched Operation Sindoor after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the entire world rallied behind India. The terrorist attack was strongly condemned worldwide. He stated that during Operation Sindoor, India struck nine targets in Pakistan. Seven of these were struck by the Army and two by the Air Force. During Operation Sindoor, India determined that no innocent people would be killed and no military targets were targeted. Our goal was to eliminate terrorist hideouts, training centers, and their handlers.

India showed the evidence to the whole world

The Army Chief stated that India has shown the entire world evidence of the terrorist hideouts destroyed in Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. Had India not revealed these evidence to the world, Pakistan would have concealed them. He issued a stern warning to Pakistan, stating that India will not exercise the restraint it did during Operation Sindoor 1.0.

He said, "This time we will take further action, and we will take such action that Pakistan may have to reconsider whether it wants to remain in history and geography. If it wants to establish its place in history, Pakistan will have to stop supporting terrorism." The Army Chief told Indian Army soldiers to prepare fully and, God willing, this opportunity will come soon.

The Army Chief stated that during Operation Sindoor 1.0, the Indian Army destroyed nine Pakistani terrorist hideouts, killing over 100 Pakistani Army personnel and numerous terrorists. Evidence of this operation has been shown to the world. He stated that the credit for Operation Sindoor's success goes to the Army personnel and local people. He stated that Operation Sindoor has become so deeply ingrained in our lives that it will remain with us as long as we live. He added that Operation Sindoor was named after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was dedicated to women. He stated that this time India is fully prepared.

Three army officers honored

During the programme, Chief of Army Staff Upendra Dwivedi specially honoured three Army officers for their outstanding work in Operation Sindoor 1.0. Commandant Prabhakar Singh of 140th Battalion of BSF, Major Ritesh Kumar of Rajputana Rifles and Havildar Mohit Gera were honoured in the programme today.
