Omar vs Mehbooba: The Tulbul navigation project, a water war in Kashmir?

Uttam Sinha, senior fellow at the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, said the project has been suspended for diplomatic purposes, but it's within the Indus Water Treaty and can be completed. Kushwinder Vohra, former chairman of Central Water Commission, endorsed the view, pointing out the positives of the project regarding water depth, power generation, and flood control.
