Tripathi, a law graduate with a history of fraudulent activities, confessed during interrogation that he made the threat while intoxicated, driven by emotional distress from a failed marriage.

Gupta’s Z-category security has been upgraded, with additional personnel deployed at her Shalimar Bagh home and new Raj Niwas Marg residence.
