PM Modi's Jind Visit: India's First Hydrogen Train To Be Flagged Off On July 17
Prime minister Narendra Modi will flag off Asia's first hydrogen-powered train from Jind during his visit to the district on July 17.
Jind: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the hydrogen train on July 17. He will also address a public meeting. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will visit Jind on Wednesday to review the preparations for the event. He will hold a meeting with officials and visit the rally site and the railway junction.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr. Krishna Midha said that July 17th will be a historic day for Haryana, especially for Jind district. The Prime Minister will flag off the country's first hydrogen train and inaugurate a hydrogen gas plant.
During this, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate Bhiwani and Narnaul Medical Colleges, lay the foundation stone of Kurukshetra Elevated Railway Track, lay the foundation stone of Ambala-Kala Amb Greenfield Expressway, inaugurate the Haryana part of Delhi-Katra Expressway, Jind-Gohana National Highway (NH-352 D) and Hansi-Barwala National Highway.

In addition, the foundation stone of a historic and magnificent Sikh museum will be laid in Umri village, Kurukshetra. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Nayab Saini will visit Jind to inspect the venue and review the preparations in a meeting with officials. BJP District President Tejendra Dhull, Vice Chairman of the Haryana Sanitation Commission Bharat Bhushan Tank, and Media Coordinator Ashok Chhabra were also present on the occasion.
Helipad to be built in police line
The Deputy Speaker informed that a helipad has been constructed in the Police Lines, from where the Prime Minister will proceed to the railway junction and flag off the hydrogen train for Sonipat. A public meeting will be held in front of the new bus stand. A large number of people will arrive on e-scooters, bicycles, and on foot.
To reduce the consumption of petrol and diesel, people have been appealed to use minimum vehicles to come to the public meeting.
