After the derogatory comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Patna, there was a violent clash between BJP and Congress workers on the streets. Many people were injured in stone pelting and lathi charge. Congress alleged that BJP attacked its office.

National News: During the Mahagathbandhan's Voter Rights Yatra in Bihar, abusive words were spoken against Modi in Darbhanga. This angered the BJP and protests started till the Congress office in Patna. The atmosphere became so heated that sloganeering took a violent turn. Suddenly stone pelting started between BJP and Congress workers. Soon lathi-charge started. Many workers were injured, their heads were bruised and started bleeding.

Seeing the situation worsening, the police had to take out pistols and disperse the crowd. Congress alleges that BJP workers entered their office located at Sadaqat Ashram. They broke the lock and pelted stones at the vehicles inside. Many vehicles were damaged due to this. Congress called it a direct attack and a blot on democracy.

Congress calls social media attack on democracy

Congress wrote on social media platform X that the goonda-raj in Bihar has now gone out of control. Congress alleged that BJP rioters attacked the Congress headquarters, broke heads and abused people. Congress said that all this happened in the presence of police, which is most shameful. They called it a murder of democracy and said that if the people in power encourage goons, then from whom will the common people seek justice. It was clearly written in the post that this attack was well planned and there is a political conspiracy behind it. Congress appealed to the public to raise their voice against this dictatorial attitude.

BJP accused Congress of spreading lies and anarchy

BJP leaders say that Congress is spreading lies to protect its leaders. They claim that the protest was peaceful but Congress workers attacked first. BJP said that the real reason is Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Yatra, which inflamed the atmosphere. BJP spokespersons say that Congress wants to spread anarchy under the guise of opposing Modi. They accused Congress of repeatedly using inflammatory language to tarnish the image of the Prime Minister. BJP also said that Congress is frustrated with its falling support base, so it is resorting to violence.

Congress said police remained silent, BJP got free hand

Congress says that the police remained a silent spectator. It seemed as if the police itself was monitoring this attack. Congress has warned the government that if action is not taken against the culprits, they will take to the streets and give a befitting reply. Party leaders said that in a democracy, the responsibility of the police is to protect the public, not to remain silent under political pressure. Congress alleges that the police adopted a one-sided attitude and gave a free hand to BJP supporters. Many workers claimed that despite the presence of police, they did not get security for hours. Due to this, anger flared up even more.

Darbhanga comment sparks Patna political violence

Actually, Congress supporter Rafiq had made an indecent comment on PM Modi during a rally in Darbhanga. The police immediately arrested him and the organizers apologized. But BJP made it an issue and went to Patna to protest, which turned into violence. BJP said that this comment is an insult to the Prime Minister of the country, so they cannot sit silent. Congress argues that the entire party cannot be punished for the mistake of one person. However, this incident increased the political temperature and both the parties came face to face. Now the question is who will benefit in the upcoming elections by making this fight a political weapon.
