A Tragic End to a Secret Affair
Her family’s discovery of the affair months earlier prompted her to distance herself, a decision accuse refused to accept. On June 6, he lured her to a hotel under the pretext of a final meeting, where he stabbed her 13 times with a knife purchased days earlier, indicating premeditation. Accused who sustained minor injuries during the act, was arrested within hours and confessed, as confirmed by police statements on June 7.
Police Investigation and Evidence
The Subramanyapura Police recovered the murder weapon and CCTV footage showing accused entering the hotel with victim. A 90-second video on his phone, capturing the assault, corroborated the brutality. The post-mortem report confirmed death due to multiple stab wounds, with injuries to her neck and chest. The police have charged accused under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for murder, with the case set for fast-track trial due to public outcry.
