Hindus can also be terrorists,' Congress MP Renuka Chowdhary gave a controversial statement

After Sadhvi Pragya and Colonel Purohit were acquitted in the Malegaon blast case, Congress’ Renuka Chaudhary and SP’s Akhilesh Yadav attacked the government, refusing apology over ‘Hindu terrorism’; Sadhvi Pragya turned emotional recalling her struggle.

National News: After the court acquitted Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Colonel Shrikant Purohit in the Malegaon bomb blast case, there has been a stir in political circles. Congress MP Renuka Chaudhary gave a controversial statement while reacting to this decision. She said, "It was certain that these people would be released in this government. Now that they have been released, we will have to see what happens next. We were already aware of this."

Renuka Chaudhary clearly said that she has no regrets over the use of words like 'Hindu terrorism' by Congress. She said bluntly, "There is nothing wrong in this. Terrorism has no religion. When 'Muslim terrorist' is said, then saying 'Hindu terrorist' should also not be considered wrong."

Terrorists can be from any religion

Renuka Chaudhary further said in her statement that terrorism is not related to any religion, but it is a mentality. She said, "There are many types of people in Hinduism too. When we talk about Naxalites, do they have any religion? Are they not terrorists? Then there can be terrorists among the people of Hinduism too."

Akhilesh Yadav also targeted

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav also gave a statement in this matter. He said that the public wants the culprits to be punished. According to him, the sentiment of the common people is that whoever does wrong should be punished. He also alleged that this decision may have been taken to divert attention from some major international incident. He was referring to the events going on in America.

Sadhvi Pragya became emotional

After being acquitted, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur became emotional in the court itself. She said, "I was accused of terrorism. My whole life was ruined. I am a sanyasi, so I survived. But I had to live every day with a lot of suffering." Sadhvi had tears in her eyes, and she said that this struggle was the most difficult phase of her life.
