Know When Monsoon Will Reach To Delhi? Already Arrived Keralam, Heavy Rainfall Starts.
The monsoon had reached to Kerala and by end of the month, it may be reached to New Delhi and another part of northern Indian belt.
New Delhi: After long, monsoon had arrived in India. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) told that South-Western monsoon reached to Keralam. Now the official notification had been released. However rainfall was continued earlier.
IMD announced several delays?
This time, monsoon is considered late. Initially the date was announced for the monsoon is May 26. But at that time it was also estimated that it may delay by 4 days. Possibility of arriving monsoon 4 days earlier as well. Considering this, 30 May was considered a date of arriving the monsoon.
But, on 30th May, IMD re-announced that the monsoon may be delayed further for 4 days.
What IMD told about Keralam?
IMD told that Keralam declared red alert and orange alert in several district. Ernakulam, Alappuzha, Kottayam are included in the list. It also mentioned that Trivandrum, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Edduki, and Thrissur may feel low to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorm. The wind speeds could also go up to 40 kmph.
When it will reach to Northern plain?
Amid the heatwave in northern India and north-western belt. Monsoon may arrive by 25 June to 30 June. It may cover entire India by 30th June.
How will it be?
Last week, IMD announced that the rainfall will be at lower level as compared to LPA. This year, the possibility of rainfall would be 87 cm.
