Meanwhile, an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Srinagar faced a harrowing experience when it encountered a severe hailstorm. The pilot declared an emergency, and despite the aircraft suffering damage to its nose cone, all 227 passengers and crew members landed safely at Srinagar Airport. A video captured by a passenger showed the intense hailstorm causing vibrations and panic inside the cabin.

The airline confirmed that everyone on board the IndiGo flight was safely evacuated, but the aircraft was grounded for immediate repairs due to the extent of the damage.
