Why did the administration cancel Dhirendra Shastri's religious meeting in Agra one hour before? Know the reason

Baba Bageshwar Dhirendra Shastri's religious gathering scheduled for Saturday in Agra was cancelled at the last moment. As per the schedule, the story was to begin at 1 pm.

Pandit Dhirendra Shastri: Baba Bageshwar Dhirendra Shastri's religious gathering scheduled for Saturday in Agra, Uttar Pradesh was cancelled at the last moment. As per the schedule, the story was to begin at 1 pm, but an hour before that the administration cancelled its permission. The organisers have also confirmed the cancellation of the programme.

The situation could have worsened due to heavy crowd

Police Commissioner Deepak Kumar said that permission was given for about two thousand people for the event. But even before the program started, more than 10 thousand people had gathered at the venue. People were continuously arriving from Gwalior, Bhind, Morena and nearby districts. There was a possibility of law and order and security system deteriorating due to sudden increase in the crowd.

For this reason, the administration took precautionary steps and cancelled the permission. The police informed the organizers and Bageshwar Peethadheeshwar Dhirendra Shastri about this decision. Along with this, the Chief Minister's Office was also informed.

The location was changed earlier as well

It is worth noting that a day before this, on Friday, the weather had affected the preparations of the program. Due to heavy rain, the venue of the Katha had to be changed. The Dharam Sabha was earlier to be held at Targhar Ground, but due to bad weather, it was shifted to Rajdevam on Fatehabad Road. Complete arrangements for staging, pandal and seating were made here.

Event cancelled at the last minute

According to the schedule fixed on Saturday, Baba Bageshwar Dhirendra Shastri was to reach Rajdevam at 1 pm. Thousands of people were already waiting for him there. Meanwhile, it was announced that the program has been cancelled. The sudden decision brought disappointment among the devotees, as many people had come from far-off places to listen to the story.

The administration's argument

Officials say that the crowd was many times more than expected, which increased the pressure on the security system. If the program had started, a situation of chaos could have arisen. In such a situation, keeping in mind the safety of the general public, cancelling the Dharam Sabha was considered the most appropriate decision.
