CRPF jawan Munir Khan and his wife Minal Khan from Pakistan are in news right now. A plan is being made to take action against Munir Khan now. Minal Khan was on a tourist visa in India, but she was residing in India even after the visa got over.

India gave an order to return all Pakistanis

The attack occurred on April 22 in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. At least 26 individuals were killed in the attack. India worked to display eyes to Pakistan after this and took stringent measures. India gave an order to return all Pakistanis residing in the country to their nation. Following this, the wife of CRPF jawan Munir Ahmed also had to abandon her husband and return to Pakistan.

Job threat

Minal Khan and Munir Khan got married through video conferencing in the year 2024. After taking action on India's behalf, Minal Khan was forced to depart from the country. Whereas his wife has departed from the country, meanwhile, the problem for Munir Khan has also risen, now his job is threatened. In fact, arrangements are being done to take departmental action against CRPF jawan Munir Khan.

Two allegedly got married through WhatsApp video call

Constable Munir Khan married a Pakistani citizen in the absence of formal sanction, triggering procedural infractions and huge questions regarding national security. This has led to talk of action against them today. The CRPF stated that the constable posted in the 41st battalion had previously applied for permission to marry a Pakistani woman called Minal Khan.

But before the department could approve or process, the two allegedly got married through WhatsApp video call on May 24, 2024. Owing to this unauthorized marriage, the disciplinary action has now been initiated against them.

Wife kept in country even after completion of visa

As per the report, some lapses were also observed in the behavior of the constable. It has been narrated in the report that even after the visa of Munir Khan's wife expired, he retained his wife in India and concealed this fact from all. Munir Khan's wife, Minal Khan, had crossed into India via the Wagah border on a tourist visa. The tourist visa was valid up to 22/03/2025, but even when the visa was no longer valid, Munir Khan retained his wife in India and she also did not disclose this to anyone.

Minal was not sent back

The CRPF declared that the constable had abused conduct rules in terms of Rule 21(3) of the CCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964 and is now deciding on departmental disciplinary action. Minal Khan was recently escorted to India from the Wagah border following the Pahalgam terror attack and the instruction of the Indian government to send back all Pakistani nationals. But Jammu and Kashmir High Court on Wednesday provided 10-day last-minute reprieve from deportation to Pakistani national Minal Khan, who married a CRPF jawan.
