Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath targeted the Samajwadi Party and the Congress on Friday, accusing the parties of casting doubts on Lord Ram's existence and disrespecting Hindu faith by allegedly allowing namaz to be offered at Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya during their tenure.

What did the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister say?

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who arrived in Ayodhya, launched a scathing attack on the opposition over the Ram Temple offerings controversy.

The Uttar Pradesh CM said that, "Those who are now talking about Lord Ram and faith had recently attempted to offer namaz on the steps of Hanumangarhi. Imagine, can anyone recite the Hanuman Chalisa inside the Jama Masjid? Can any government make that happen? Can the Congress or the Samajwadi Party ensure that? If not, then why was such an act allowed on the steps of Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya?"

What did the UP CM say about Ram Temple?

CM Yogi said that the sin of conducting namaz on the steps of Hanumangarhi was committed by the Congress and the Samajwadi Party. But now Ayodhya has become the most beautiful city

"They questioned the very existence of Lord Ram, fired bullets at Ram devotees and created an identity crisis for Ayodhya. After the double-engine government came to power, the grand Ram temple was built and no one could stop it. Today, lakhs of devotees visit Ayodhya every year," he said.

"They oppose Ayodhya today because they could not do these works themselves. They are unhappy that an international airport has been named after Maharishi Valmiki and that projects have been named after Nishad Raj and other revered personalities," he said.

Did CM Yogi lay the foundation stone of projects?

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister on Friday inaugurated  and laid the foundation stone of 217 development projects worth over Rs 432 crore in Ayodhya. During this, he spoke on many issues regarding Ram Temple.

The Chief Minister said that when the intention is clear, work happens automatically. When the policy is clear, the ruler automatically cooperates. Today, that is evident in Ayodhya. When we receive the grace of Lord Shri Ram and the boundless blessings of Lord Hanuman, all work in Ayodhya seems to progress automatically.
