The CBSE has declared the results of over 99.7 per cent of applications received for Verification of Issues Observed and Re-evaluation of the Class 12 Board Examination 2026.
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that it has declared the results for over 99.7 per cent of the applications received for Verification of Issues Observed and Re-evaluation of the Class 12 Board Examination 2026.
What did the CBSE say?
The board issued a statement on Sunday stating that the revised results have be released in a phased manner starting June 21. The processing for the remaining cases is also nearly complete, and their results are expected to be declared soon.
Will the announcement help students?
The board's announcement brings relief to thousands of students who were awaiting revised scores, especially after concerns were raised about delays in college admissions. Earlier this week, it was reported that more than 20,000 students were awaiting the results of their revaluation applications even though the CUET UG 2026 results had already been declared, leaving many students worried about admission deadlines.
What did the CBSE say about re-evaluation process?
CBSE also stated that the result review process this year has moved faster than in 2025. While the board began releasing revaluation results on June 21, 2026, last year the process began on June 27 and continued until July 11, 2025, indicating significantly faster results.
Additionally, this year the board has made changes to the post-result process. Students will now be able to view a scanned copy of their checked answer sheet before applying for any verification or revaluation. The board stated that technical experts from IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, and Digital India Corporation have been involved to ensure security and transparency throughout the process.
What did CBSE advise students?
Students whose marks have not changed after re-evaluation can also check their answer sheets by visiting their respective CBSE offices. The board will release the dates and other information separately. Along with this information, the board has urged students and parents to rely only on official information and avoid rumors circulating on social media.
