Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein's old relationship is once again under scrutiny, with questions being raised about Trump's role and his statements. The demand to make public the documents related to Epstein's death and sex trafficking case has intensified.

Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein's old relationship is once again under scrutiny. Especially after Trump dismissed a report by the Wall Street Journal as 'fake news.' The report claimed that Trump had sent an obscene birthday card to Epstein. The Trump administration is now under pressure to make public the government files related to Epstein's criminal history and his death.

Friendship began in the 1990s.

Trump and Epstein's friendship is believed to have begun in the 1990s, when Trump was famous as a real estate tycoon and self-proclaimed playboy. An NBC video shows the two together at a 1992 party at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida. According to the report, that same year Epstein also attended a "calendar girl" competition as Trump's guest. Flight records presented in court show that Trump traveled several times on Epstein's private plane in the 1990s. However, Trump has denied this.

In 1993, Epstein introduced Trump to model Stacy Williams, during which Trump was accused of inappropriate behavior, which he denied. Trump has been accused of sexual misconduct by about 20 women, and in 2023 he was also found guilty of sexually assaulting a journalist, E. Jean Carroll.

Virginia Giuffre's Claim

Virginia Giuffre, a key witness in Epstein's sex trafficking cases, claimed she was recruited into the alleged trafficking network by Ghislaine Maxwell at the age of 17 while working at the Mar-a-Lago club. Maxwell was later sentenced to prison in the same case.

In 2002, Trump described Epstein as a "wonderful man" who liked "beautiful young women." However, in 2004, the two had a falling out over a real estate deal, and their relationship deteriorated. Trump claimed they did not see each other for 15 years after that.

Epstein's arrest in 2019

After Epstein's arrest and mysterious death in prison in 2019, Trump distanced himself from him. He told the media that I was never a fan of his. Despite this, Trump now talks of a conspiracy behind Epstein's death and calls it a ploy of opponents.
