British Leak Puts 1 Lakh Afghans in Danger-Taliban Already Killed 3
Due to major negligence by the British government, confidential data of Afghan citizens has reached the Taliban, putting over 1 lakh lives at risk, with three killings reported so far.

International News: A huge negligence of Britain has put the lives of more than 1 lakh Afghans in danger. The British government lost the confidential list of those Afghan citizens who had worked for the British army and intelligence agencies for years. Now there is a fear that this list has fallen into the hands of the Taliban. According to the Daily Mail, three murders have taken place in the last seven days. The people killed were directly related to Britain.
On Tuesday, Afghans received a 'sorry' note from the government, in which they were told that their personal data had been leaked. This is considered to be the biggest data breach in the history of Britain, due to which the lives of about 1 lakh Afghans have come under threat.
The lives of millions of Afghans were at stake
According to the news of the Daily Mail, it has not been confirmed yet whether the complete list has reached the Taliban or not, but the way Britain's helpers are being targeted, the suspicion is deepening. An Afghan soldier, who himself fled to Britain, says that my brother was killed because the Taliban knew that I was associated with Britain. If the complete list has reached the Taliban, then the killings will increase. And Britain will be solely responsible for this.
Dossier of the murder of more than 300 people
The Daily Mail has seen a list of more than 300 murders. These include people who had applied to Britain's Afghan Resettlement Scheme (ARAP). For example, Colonel Shafir Ahmad Khan, who had worked with the British Army, was shot dead outside his home in May 2022. Commando Ahmadzai and soldier Qasim were both killed in April 2023.
Silent government, unaware media and MPs.
Amidst the Taliban killings, the British government carried out a secret evacuation operation called Operation Rubific, in which 18,500 Afghans were brought to Britain from August 2023 till now. There is a plan to bring a total of 23,900 people. But there are about 75,000 Afghans who are stuck there. These people were left with only 'security-related advice.'
UK Kept Leak Hidden, Now Faces Parliament Heat
The British government kept this whole matter under wraps. The Daily Mail fought in court for two years, and then this information became public. Now there is an uproar in the British Parliament. Three parliamentary investigations have been started, and MPs are questioning why the government did not say this earlier. The surprising thing is that in October the government approved the expenditure of 7 billion pounds (₹ 75,000 crores) without any debate.
