He stressed that the relationship between India and America is special and there is no threat to these relations. Trump made this statement during a conversation with the media when he was asked questions about relations with India.
While praising his old relations with Prime Minister Modi, Trump made it clear that there may be some disagreements at present, but this will not affect the strong partnership between the two countries. He said that America will always be a friend of India and he personally values his friendship with Modi.

When Trump was asked if he is ready to improve relations with India again, he confidently replied that I am always ready and will always be a friend of Prime Minister Modi. He is a great Prime Minister. I will always be his friend but I do not like what he is doing at this time. However, Trump did not clarify which actions of Prime Minister Modi he dislikes.
