New Delhi: iQOO is bringing its Neo 10 smartphone back into the limelight with new colors. The company had earlier announced the Alpine White variant, and now another color option has been added called Asphalt Black. According to the information given on Amazon, this new variant will go on sale from April 30.
Does the new Asphalt Black variant look different from other colors?
The new Asphalt Black variant gives a slightly softer and classier look than the already existing Inferno Red and Titanium Chrome. While Inferno Red is brighter and Titanium Chrome has a shining finish, the Black option has been introduced with a more subtle design. However, this change is limited to looks only.
Has the company changed anything internally?
The simple fact is that change is limited to the outside only. The same hardware has been kept inside the phone which was available in earlier variants. iQOO has changed neither the processor nor the camera nor made any changes to the battery. The price has also been kept the same.
Does it have any impact on performance or not?
Since the hardware is the same, the performance will also remain the same. It has Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which is counted among the powerful processors of this time. There is also a Q1 chip, which has been added specifically to improve gaming. The phone works without much interruption in heavy games or multitasking.
How much does the screen affect users?
The phone has a 6.78 inch AMOLED display. The 144Hz refresh rate makes it smooth, especially when you're playing games or scrolling fast. The brightness is also very high, so there is no problem in using it outside.
Is the camera setup reliable or just a numbers game?
Here iQOO has kept the same setup that was already being offered. There is a 50 megapixel Sony primary camera, which has OIS support. Along with this there is an 8 megapixel ultra-wide lens. The pictures are decent and the camera can be called reliable for everyday use. The front camera is also 32 megapixels, which is enough for selfies and video calls.
Does the battery make it suitable for long use?
The phone has a large battery of 7,000mAh, which makes it a long-lasting device. Once charged, it is easy to use throughout the day. Along with this, support of 120W fast charging has also been provided, due to which the battery gets filled quickly.
What has become clear regarding price and sales?
There has been no change in the price. The base variant comes at Rs 34,999, while the price of the top variant goes up to Rs 43,999. Both the new Asphalt Black and Alpine White colors will be available on Amazon and the company's website from April 30.
