Ayodhya: A new controversy has emerged regarding offerings at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The Sindhi community has expressed concern regarding the 200 kg silver bricks donated for the construction of the Ram Temple in 2021.

In fact, International President of Vishwa Sindhi Seva Sangam, Raju Manwani, claimed he has not received a donation receipt and no official information about these bricks to date.

Vishwa Sindhi Seva Sangam International President has said that the silver bricks were handed over to Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. There is also a photo of the handing over of bricks to Champat Rai on January 26, 2021. The temple administration went to great lengths to deceive them. At first, they were informed that they would get a receipt after the silver was inspected, but even five years later, no receipt has been produced.

The Sindhi community has expressed concern about the donated silver. A section of the community said that they will soon have a meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding the issue. After the donation theft case came to light, new revelations are emerging every day. During the SIT investigation, one former engineer who alleges he was part of the construction work has even complained of extensive corruption.

The President of the Sindhi Samaj, Manwani, said, "We have complete faith in the CM Yogi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi that everything will be disclosed and those involved in the scam will be punished. After the scam came to light, people have considerably withdrawn from giving funds to the Ram Temple, so a proper investigation is needed, which would include a mechanism to inform donors where their money is being used.
